Protecting the Salish Sea one bite at a time....

We are so excited to be back hosting the Georgia Strait Alliance's annual fundraiser From Oysters to Orcas at the Fanny Bay Oyster Bar this February 26th! The evening will include tasty sustainable seafood, updates on the critical work that GSA is doing in our local waters, and guests will hear from Marine Ecosystems senior environmentalist Anuradha Rao and Tsleil-Waututh Nation (səlilwətaɬ) cultural and technical specialist Michelle George, offering insights into sustaining the Salish Sea’s rich biodiversity.

At the heart of GSA’s approach to environmental conservation is providing equitable opportunities for everyone to connect with the Salish Sea. To make the rich bounty of the Salish Sea more accessible the ticket offerings are on a sliding scale for pricing ranging from $75 to $150. 

Our evening will include a large raw bar, pass canapés, dessert, and beverages sponored by Copperpenny Distillery, Phillips Brewing, TwinSails Brewing, Russell Brewing, and Lakeside Cellars!
